The International Water House was founded in 2009 in The Hague with the ambition to be a meeting point for the Dutch water sector and its international partners. A central location for a first contact with a prospect partner, an additional workspace near The Hague city centre, and the go-to place for water-related information. For years, the International Water House, has been all these and much more.
In its early days, the International Water House was home to several water-related organisations such as: IRC, Netherlands Water Partnership, Match+ and Food & Business Knowledge Platform (transitioned to Netherlands Food Partnership in 2020). These organisations moved to different offices in 2023 and in doing so, the International Water House closed its doors.
The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) has a strong desire to re-open the International Water House in the short term. In the meantime, NWP invites the entire water sector to think of its new office location – Koningskade 40, 2596 AA The Hague – as the go-to water hub. After all, NWP’s office has always been a hub for information, knowledge exchange and networking.
